The Suwannee Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Taylor County Bulldogs, and things went their way on Saturday too. Suwannee strolled past Taylor County with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. The win made it back-to-back wins for Suwannee.
Allen Collier and Trayce Abercrombie certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Collier dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Abercrombie scored 14 points. Jakari Jackson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Suwannee's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Taylor County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Suwannee will be playing at home against Trinity Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Taylor County, they will head out on the road to face off against Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leon is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
