Abby McLemore made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Dunedin lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Academy of the Holy Names didn't launched any home runs.
Dunedin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Academy of the Holy Names, they moved to 13-10 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
