Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Wynot, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bears walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blue Devils on Thursday.

Bergan Catholic hadn't beaten Yutan on the road since October 31, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Knights blew past the Chieftains 3-0. The Knights not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).
Bergan Catholic not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Yutan between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-20.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge better keep an eye on Zoe Janke. She was instrumental in Bergan Catholic's win, getting 29 digs. That's the most digs Janke has posted since back in August.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's record now sits at 17-0. As for Bergan Catholic, their record is now 14-4.
