While Latin's victory against Francis W. Parker wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Romans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Colonels on Tuesday. Latin haven't had any issues with Francis W. Parker recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Lauren Rosenberg was the driving force of Latin's attack as she scored both of Latin's goals, bringing her season total up to 24 goals.

Latin's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Francis W. Parker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Latin will venture away from home to challenge Payton College Prep at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Francis W. Parker, they will head out to square off against North Shore Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
