Nantucket was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mashpee Falcons. Nantucket's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Mashpee, they moved to 5-12 with that  win, which also ended their six-match losing streak.
 Nantucket wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  victory against Rising Tide on the 17th. As for Mashpee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against Abington on the 20th.
