Damonte Ranch had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Galena Grizzlies by a score of 47-40. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly seven points.

Julia Imse and Mia Turner certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Imse dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards, while Turner almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Imse is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Grace Sommers was another key player, putting up four points.

Damonte Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Galena, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Damonte Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Galena, they will take on McQueen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Galena is facing McQueen at the right time seeing as McQueen is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
