The West Carteret Patriots fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Croatan by a score of 30-19 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as West Carteret also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Despite the defeat, Croatan had strong showings from Coleman Davis, who rushed for 156 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and Max Cardona, who picked up 69 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Davis was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
West Carteret's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Croatan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
West Carteret does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Croatan also has no future games currently scheduled.
