Volleyball Recap: Marlboro Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Marlboro faced off against Christian Brothers Academy on Wednesday. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Colts. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on April 4th.

While Marlboro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Marlboro is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Christian Brothers Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6.

Coincidentally, Marlboro and Christian Brothers Academy will both be playing Middletown South the next time they take the court. The Colts will head out to face the Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
