After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hollywood, Discovery was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Valley Oaks CES Vanguards with a sharp 21-9 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Vanguards: they've now won nine in a row.
Pamela Quiroz was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with four runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Britany Arellano, who got on base in four of her seven plate appearances with four runs.
