Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arvada). They walked away with a 69-60 win over the Sheridan Rams on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Cameron Henderson was a one-man wrecking crew for Arvada as he went 7 for 15 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight assists and seven steals. That's the most assists Henderson has posted since back in February of 2024. Deymian Than also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
Henderson wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Arvada was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's a new trend for Arvada: they were averaging 1 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 4.6.
Despite the loss, Sheridan still got an impressive performance from Bobby Garcia, who posted 26 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Jason Medrano, who earned 11 points and eight steals.
