After a string of three wins, Wills Point's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Richardson Eagles.

Lynlie Mcclanahan and Lydia Turner certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Mcclanahan had seven digs and three aces, while Turner had 20 assists and five aces. Turner has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Among those leading the charge was NeVaeh Kent, who had nine digs.

Wills Point's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Richardson, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-10 record.

Wills Point has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Wilson on the 28th. As for Richardson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against West Mesquite on the 28th.
