Adding to the longest winning streak in WPIAL A Eastern this week, North Catholic beat Neshannock 27-14. The victory was the 12th in a row for the Trojans.
North Catholic made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 577 from 781. The advance stemmed from a 27-14 victory over the Lancers last week.
Apollo Ridge's Jesse Zelonka and Tre Tipton have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Zelonka has thrown for 1,613 yards this season, while Tipton has 44 catches for 697 yards. Riverview's Keir Barber leads the league in rushing yards with 867.
Bob Ravenstahl's team led the league in points allowed with 14.
