Francis Parker hasn't had much luck against Bishop recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lancers will head out to take on the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Francis Parker's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Lincoln as they made off with a 10-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lancers.

Evelyn Luo was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Francis Parker let Payton Zborowski and Ella Kahraman run wild. Zborowski went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs, while Kahraman went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Kahraman a new career-high. Brynn Holst also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop's). They put the hurt on El Cajon Valley with a sharp 29-1 victory on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Bella Bravo and Sydney Mafong made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Bravo struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Mafong tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. At bat, Bravo went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI, while Mafong got on base in five of her six plate appearances with six RBI, four runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jayla Stafford, who went 4-for-5 with five runs, four RBI, and one triple. Sophie Brunner was another key player, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Bishop's hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Cajon Valley struck out 11 times.
Francis Parker's record is now 5-8. As for Bishop's, their record now sits at 8-4-1.
