It was a proper cat-fight when Amory challenged Hatley on Thursday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Tigers back in August, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Amory walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Bayley Jenkins and Makynlee McAlester, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Emma Thompson and her 11 assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Amory and bumps their season record up to 4-6. As for Hatley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Amory wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Nettleton on the 8th. As for Hatley, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Walnut on the 9th.
