 After a string of five wins, Middlesex's good fortune finally ran out  on Wednesday. Their  rough  6-3 loss to West Point  might stick with them for a while. Middlesex has struggled against West Point recently, as their  game on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

 Marek Hanscom did their best for Middlesex and scored all three of Middlesex's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of 19 so far this season.
 Meanwhile, Rappahannock kept a clean sheet against New Kent  on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Trojans out  1-0. The  win was just what Rappahannock needed coming off of  a  6-0 defeat in their prior  contest.
 Having lost for the first time this season, Middlesex  fell to 5-1. As for Rappahannock, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
 Middlesex came up short against Rappahannock when the teams last played  back in May of 2023, falling  3-1. Can Middlesex avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
