After flying high against Mariana Bracetti Academy last Thursday, the Parkway Northwest Hoyas came back down to earth. Parkway Northwest took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owls on Friday. Parkway Northwest has struggled against the Owls recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Thomas A. Edison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andre Roberts, who scored 17 points along with two blocks. It was the first time this season that Roberts posted two or more blocks. Ernan Rivera was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Parkway Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Thomas A. Edison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8.
Parkway Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Thomas A. Edison will head out on the road to face off against the Dragons at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. TECH Freire Charter has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 214 points over their last three games.
