After flying high against the Tyler Legacy Raiders last Friday, The North Forney Falcons came back down to earth. North Forney ended up on the wrong side of a tough 31-10 walloping at the hands of Rockwall-Heath on Friday. It was the first time this season that North Forney let down their fans at home.
Despite the loss, North Forney still got an impressive performance from Jermald Patterson, who rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Patterson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards.
North Forney's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Rockwall-Heath, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
North Forney will face off against Garland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Garland is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Rockwall-Heath, they will take on Sachse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sachse is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
