Providence Academy waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Faustina Academy Falcons 48-26. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.

Providence Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Piper McIlrath out in front who went 8 of 18 en route to 18 points and four steals. McIlrath is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Kylie Daniels was another key player, putting up ten points.

Providence Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.9 points per game. As for Faustina Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.
