The Idaho City Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 73-46 loss at the hands of Rimrock. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Idaho City in their matchups with Rimrock: they've now lost eight in a row.
Idaho City's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makayla Barber, who scored four points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Kindelberger, who scored five points.
Idaho City dropped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Rimrock, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.
Idaho City will head out on the road to take on Wilder at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Wilder is ranked 133rd, while Idaho City is ranked 142nd). As for Rimrock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Victory Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Victory Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Friday.
