Elkhart is 9-0 against Rolla since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Elkhart Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Rolla Pirates. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Elkhart and five for Rolla.
Last Tuesday, Elkhart suffered a rough 71-45 defeat at the hands of Turpin.
Meanwhile, Rolla lost to Forgan at home by a decisive 50-34 margin last Friday. Rolla has not had much luck with Forgan recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Rolla got a solid performance out of Rylan Williams, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Garrison, who scored seven points.
Elkhart dropped their record down to 4-11 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Rolla, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
Everything came up roses for Elkhart against Rolla in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 90-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Elkhart since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
