The Anton Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Meadow Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anton is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
Last Tuesday, Anton was beaten by the Panthers 68-23. While losing is never fun, Anton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1357th, while the Panthers are ranked 408th).
In what's become a running theme this season, Meadow gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 55-35 margin over Morton. The win was just what Meadow needed coming off of a 80-31 loss in their prior match.
Anton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Meadow, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.
Anton came up short against the Broncos when the teams last played back in January, falling 33-26. Can Anton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
