Sunset is a perfect 10-0 against Beaverton since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Apollos will be playing at home against the Beavers at 5:00 p.m. Sunset is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
Sunset barely beat Westview the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Apollos blew past the Wildcats 14-1 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Apollos needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Sydney Arnold spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.
