Waunakee faced Sauk Prairie in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Eagles  3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

  Kendall Scadden had an outrageously good game as she  had 20  digs and four  assists. That's the most  assists  she has posted  over her last eight  matches.
 Sauk Prairie's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Mackenna Murphy, who  had 23  digs and two assists. The team also got some help courtesy of  Leah Allen, who  had 12  digs and ten  assists.
Waunakee has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-7 record  this season. As for Sauk Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-5.
 Waunakee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sauk Prairie, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McFarland at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 25th.
