Basketball Recap: Plainview Drops Highest Score of Season Against Reeves

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainview). They came out on top against the Reeves Raiders by a score of 72-62 on Friday. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 84-75 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Plainview's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Reeves, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Plainview and Reeves will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Hornets see the court they'll take on Elizabeth at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Reeves, their break will end when they face Kinder at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
