After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Braden River, the Booker Tornadoes were happy to have found some success on Monday. They really took it to Bayshore for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-32 victory at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Booker also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Leading Booker to victory were Jovan Palavra and J.P Lattimore. Palavra scored 15 points, while Lattimore scored 20 points. The matchup was Palavra's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Wright, who scored eight points.
William Strawbridge and Dashawn Smith certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Strawbridge scored 16 points, while Smith scored nine points. The game was Strawbridge's tenth in a row with at least ten points.
Booker's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Bayshore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Booker will be home for the holidays to greet Venice at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Venice is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Bayshore will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bradenton Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th.
