Magee has gone a perfect 6-0 against Jefferson Davis County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Magee has three straight wins, Jefferson Davis County has 15 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Magee barely beat McLaurin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 15-2 victory on Wednesday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Brady Fairchild made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Fairchild was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Magee got a massive performance out of Braelyn Hall, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The Trojans are undefeated when Hall posts two or more runs, but 1-9 otherwise. Treveon Mcintyre was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.
Magee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Jefferson Davis County lost 18-3 to Magee on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Jaguars have lost by exactly 15 runs.
Jefferson Davis County's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Magee, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Magee got the 'W' in their previous meeting on Tuesday against Jefferson Davis County by a conclusive 18-3 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
