Western Guilford extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Timothy (Tim) Baker. The Hornets took down the Thomasville Bulldogs 28-14 on Friday for which the team can thank Baker, who rushed for 158 yards and one TD while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 62 yards.
Western Guilford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jermiah Dotson. Another thorn in Thomasville's side was Xavier Washington, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
