The Forestview Jaguars stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against Ashbrook as Forestview made off with a 60-38 win. The win was familiar territory for Forestview who now have three in a row.
Forestview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tralyn Phillips, who scored 14 points along with five steals. Phillips is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Forgan, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Forestview has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Ashbrook, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Forestview will head out on the road to face off against Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kings Mountain is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Ashbrook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Gaston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
