Drew Klein of Papillion-LaVista South ran for the longest rushing play in A District 3 this season against Benson last week. Klein ran for 73 yards on the play and finished with 373 on the day as his team topped the Bunnies.
Omaha Westside extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Millard South, 47-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Warriors.
Klein was a beast in the backfield as Papillion-LaVista South beat Benson.
Klein was a passing and rushing force as Walt Olsen's team topped Tony Kobza's team. Klein's key target this week was Dylan Donahue, who caught 2 passes for 13 yards.
JAYDEN SWENSEN threw for 278 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 22-45 with 3 interceptions.
Mike Bradley was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Bunnies lost to the Titans. The 5-foot-5 defensive back forced 1 fumble and recorded 1 fumble.
SWENSEN put up the best numbers through the air as Benson fell to Papillion-LaVista South. SWENSEN's favorite target this week was TYREE PETER, who caught 8 passes for 150 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Bunnies' SWENSEN and PETER have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback SWENSEN has thrown for 1,029 yards this season, while PETER has 26 catches for 356 yards. The Titans' Klein leads the league in rushing yards with 1,204.
