It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Bravo Knights can now relate to. They took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans on Friday. Bravo's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Sylmar was led to victory by Joseph Dickson, Jr and Nathan Lee. Dickson, Jr scored 21 points along with three steals, while Lee scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Dickson, Jr is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Sidon, who scored 11 points.
Bravo's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-12. As for Sylmar, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-14.
Bravo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sylmar, they will take on Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sylmar knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Garfield likes a good challenge.
