The Otterville Eagles were the 90-59 winner over the New Bloomfield Wildcats when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Otterville took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Bloomfield on Friday. Otterville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Bloomfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Fuhriman, who scored 14 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals. Nathan Fuhriman was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Otterville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for New Bloomfield, their victory bumped their record up to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Otterville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Green Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. New Bloomfield will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Belle at 6:00 p.m. on December 4th.
