The Trinity Episcopal Titans will head out to take on the St. Catherine's Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Trinity Episcopal 4, St. Catherine's 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Things were looking good for Trinity Episcopal after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Bishop Ireton by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Titans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cooper Beatty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Trinity Episcopal saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ainsley McNeer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Caelyn Deklyn, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
Meanwhile, St. Catherine's faced Christchurch School in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Saints walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Seahorses. The win continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Seahorses: they've now won five in a row.
St. Catherine's also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Jenna Keefer gave up only one earned run on two hits and racked up ten Ks. Keefer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Izzy Viruet, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Jordan Morey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
St. Catherine's lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Trinity Episcopal now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Catherine's, their record is now 6-0.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Trinity Episcopal hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like St. Catherine's struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Trinity Episcopal suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to St. Catherine's in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
