The Victory Christian Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 52-28 defeat at the hands of Hawthorne Christian Academy.
Hawthorne Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Talaiah McVay, who dropped a double-double on 41 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Camryn Holley, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hawthorne Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Victory Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hawthorne Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Carolina Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
