The Seymour Indians will stay at home for another game and welcome the Calhoun Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Seymour, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-38 loss to the Tigers.
Meanwhile, Calhoun came tearing into Thursday's game with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] with points to spare, taking the game 38-22.
Seymour has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-24 record this season. As for Calhoun, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.
Seymour was dealt a bruising 72-26 loss at the hands of the Warriors in their previous matchup back in February of 2016. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Seymour was down 44-13.
