Simmons will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against West Lowndes in at 7:00 PM. Simmons has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

Meanwhile, West Lowndes had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 12-40 walloping at Caledonia hands.
Simmons's lifted them to 1-0 while West Lowndes's loss dropped them down to 0-1. Their offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Simmons defensive front that amassed 5 sacks against Coahoma Agricultural last Friday.
