The Logan Grizzlies lost against the West Side Pirates back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Logan had to suffer through a rough 57-14 loss at the hands of West Side.
West Side's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tommi Henderson, who scored 15 points along with 5 steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Henderson has scored at least 25% of West Side's points. Holly Kropf was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 8 rebounds.
Logan's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for West Side, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Logan will head out on the road to face off against Ben Lomond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ben Lomond focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Monday. As for West Side, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Declo at 7:30 p.m.
