The Moore Haven Terriers were the 55-51 winner over the Okeechobee Brahmans when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. Moore Haven took a 55-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Okeechobee. Moore Haven has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Moore Haven lost on Wednesday, one person who can't be blamed is Preslynn Baker. Despite the final result, she scored 26 points. The matchup was Baker's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Akeelah Ling, who scored 10 points.
Moore Haven now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Okeechobee, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore Haven will take on LaBelle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Okeechobee, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Jensen Beach at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Jensen Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
