Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Has No Trouble Against Willis

Montgomery won the last time they faced Willis and things went their way on Monday too. The Bears blew past the Wildkats 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Montgomery never let Willis on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-19.

Montgomery can attribute much of their success to Kennedy Marriott, who had nine digs and one assist.

Montgomery was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Willis, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Montgomery will challenge Kinkaid at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday. Willis has already played their next match (against Cypress Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
