After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Santiago brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They put the hurt on the Corona Panthers with a sharp 12-4 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Sharks in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Santiago's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-11. As for Corona, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.
