The Warren Warriors will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Big Sandy Wildcats at 1:30 p.m. on November 30th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Warren earned a 51-40 win over Hull-Daisetta.
Warren's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lewis Petty led the charge by scoring 13 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Petty has scored at least 25% of Warren's points. Jerrod Yeagin was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Big Sandy was able to grind out a solid victory over East Chambers on Tuesday, taking the game 56-45. 56 seems to be a good number for Big Sandy as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
The last time Warren lost on the road was back last Monday. Having now won four straight away contests, they've pushed their record up to 1-5. As for Big Sandy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Warren was dealt a bruising 60-32 defeat at the hands of Big Sandy when the teams last played back in November of 2021. Can Warren avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
