Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Dora Bulldogs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 18-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Priceville. Dora's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Dora's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Williams, who picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown. Williams' longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kesean Pryor, who threw for 80 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
The critical scores for Priceville came from Jake England, Blitz Clemons, and Cooper Clark.
Dora's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Priceville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Dora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Priceville will square off against Brooks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
