The WF West Bearcats waltzed into their matchup Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They managed a 57-52 win over Prosser.
Tyler Klatush continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 37 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Lucas Hoff was another key contributor, scoring six points.
WF West's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Prosser, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
WF West will head out on the road to face off against Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Aberdeen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Tuesday. Prosser and Ellensburg will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Ellensburg will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Prosser is ranked 94th).
