Quinter scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ness City 70-37 at home. Quinter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Quinter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caedmon Bridges, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Avery Briggs was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Wallace County managed to keep up with Quinter until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Wallace County's tough 49-29 defeat to Quinter might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wallace County has scored all season.
Quinter pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Wallace County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Quinter took their win against Wallace County in their previous matchup on Friday by a conclusive 49-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Quinter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
