There's no place like home for Blue Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops on Tuesday as the Blue Ridge Barons made off with a 79-58 victory. The Barons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Dreylan Creasy-Quirindoongo, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points. Another player making a difference was Colby White, who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points and four steals.

Blue Ridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.

Virginia Episcopal School's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marquez Barrera, who posted 18 points along with five boards and four steals. That's the most rebounds Barrera has posted since back in November of 2024. Kaloyan Kolev was another key player, putting up 18 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

Blue Ridge pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.6 points per game. As for Virginia Episcopal School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Blue Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 82-59 victory against Mercersburg Academy on the 3rd. Virginia Episcopal School has also already played their next match, a 44-43 defeat against Benedictine on the 30th.
