Mattanawcook gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Central Red Devils with a sharp 14-4 victory. The Lynx haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Julianna Cloukey made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Cloukey was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
