The NSU University Sharks stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Nova 97-27 at home. Winning may never get old, but NSU University sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
NSU University was led to victory by Dwight Gaines and Anthony Ferrer. Gaines scored 24 points, while Ferrer scored 33 points. Ferrer hasn't dropped below 16 points for 11 straight games. Antonio Brown was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
NSU University is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Nova, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
NSU University will take on the Lions at TBD on Tuesday. Scheck Hillel Community School is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Nova, they and the Paladins will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. South Plantation presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Titans in Florida (the Paladins are ranked 37th, while the Titans are ranked 580th).
