Church Point's defeat pushes them down to 5-3. The victory makes it two in a row for Crowley and bumps their record up to 5-3.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Church Point will take on Mamou at 7:00 PM. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Church Point and eight for Mamou. Crowley will be playing at home against Port Barre at at 7:00 PM. Port Barre stagger in eager to bring about an end to their four-game losing streak.
