The Taconic Hills Titans lost against the Hudson Blue Hawks back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Taconic Hills was outmatched by Hudson on the road and fell 52-15. Taconic Hills has struggled against Hudson recently, as their match on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Hudson to victory were Malia Jackson and Amya Moore. Jackson dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds, while Moore scored 17 points along with 7 assists and 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Hudson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Moriah Walker, who scored 4 points along with 11 rebounds.
Taconic Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hudson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Taconic Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Germantown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hudson, they will head out on the road to face off against Catskill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
