Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Ellie Hoppe stepped things up a notch to give Aitkin the 'W'. Hoppe scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Coming up, Hoppe and Aitkin will look to defend their home field on Monday against East Central at 4:00 p.m. The Gobblers are a perfect 3-0 against the Eagles going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
