The Linn Wildcats were the  67-63 winner over the Eugene Eagles when they last played one another  back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Linn took a serious blow against the Eagles on Tuesday, falling  68-35. While losing is never fun, Linn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings  (they are ranked 310th, while the Eagles are ranked 41st).
 Despite the loss, Linn still got an impressive performance from   Noah Hall, who  scored 14 points along with five  rebounds.
 Linn now  has a losing record at 9-10. As for Eugene, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linn will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Eugene, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against the Pintos at 7:30  p.m. California will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
